サッカーの日本代表チームが、今夜のオーストラリア戦を同点で終え、来年のワールドカップ出場を決めました。何度かチャンスはあったのに、なかなかゴールが入らず、じれったい思いをしましたが、最後は本田選手が決めてくれました。私自身は全くの運動音痴だけれど、何もかも忘れて観戦するひとときは面白いと思います。

Carried away
Japan’s national soccer team got entitled to play at the
World Cup next year by finishing a game in a tie with the Australian team this
evening. There were multiple occasions to score, but it took a while and made
me impatient before Honda finally shook the net. Although I am not good at any
kind of sports myself, I still enjoy watching games which make me forget
everything for some time.
