多くの日本人と同様に、今朝は私もワールドカップをテレビ観戦しました。今日の日本チームの結果は残念だったけれど、次はさらに頑張ってくれることを期待しましょう。ところで、普段は国外で活躍している選手たちのインタビューを見て、彼らの語学力に感心しました。スポーツの場では、生のコミュニケーションが求められるのでしょう。色んな意味で、自分も頑張らなきゃと思いました。
Inspiration
I watched the World Cup on TV just as many Japanese people
did this morning. It ended with a sad result for the Japanese team today, but
let’s hope they will do better in the next game. By the way, I saw interviews
of some Japanese players who usually play outside of the country and I was
impressed with their language skills.
They must need live communication at sport scenes. This was inspirational to me
in multiple ways.
