友だちと劇団四季のミュージカルを観ました。歌や踊りが良かったのはもちろんのこと、私が感心したのは衣装や舞台演出の布の使い方でした。灼熱の太陽、雌ライオンのしなやかな身体、日照りに枯れる池など…。客席に親子連れも多かったのですが、誰もが舞台に惹きつけられていたようで、騒ぐ子どもはいませんでした。
Lion King
I saw the musical play performed by Shiki Theatrical Company
with a friend. We liked the songs and dance of course, but what I was impressed
most about was their fabric usage for costumes and stage settings. Scorching
sun, lithe bodies of female lions and drying pond with drought and so on. There
were many families among the audience, but no child was making noise because
everybody was into the play.
