子どもの頃、体調が悪くなったときなどに、母がよく煮付を作ってくれました。白身の魚は味もやさしく、消化も良いそうです。実は魚の扱いは未だ慣れない私ですが、今日は明石で獲れたというかれいが新鮮そうに見えたので、買ってみました。母ほど上手くはできなかったけれど、夕食に美味しくいただきました。
Japanese food 16 –Flatfish
My mother used to cook this fish when I was sick in my
childhood. Its white flesh tastes mild and is easy for digestion. Honestly, I
am still not quite confident in handling fish, but I purchased these pieces which
were from the Akashi area and looked very fresh. We enjoyed them for dinner,
although I could not cook them as well as my mother could.
