ゴールデンウィークに一人で九州に出かけていたエリックの写真を見せてもらいました。ちょうど桜島の写真を撮っているときに、噴煙が上がったそうです。お土産に買ってきてくれた桜島大根の漬物とスモーク馬肉を食べながら、色んな話を聞かせてもらいました。次回は一緒に行きたいものです。
Sakurajima Island
Eric showed me some pictures from Kyushu, where he traveled by himself during this past Golden Week. He described how Skurajima, a volcanic island, puffed smoke when he was shooting pictures. He shared many other episodes while we enjoyed some pickled Sakurajima-daikon and smoked horse-meat from his trip. I hope to go with him next time.
