派手なハリウッド映画もさることながら、大きな劇場では公開されないような地味な映画も好きです。そのような世界各国の作品を月替わりで上映しているサークルの存在を知り、この週末に入会しました。今月はフィンランドの作品でしたが、この夏北欧に行ったこともあり、後からじんわり来るストーリーと共に風景や言葉の響きなども楽しみました。

Kobe Cinema Circle
I like unfancy movies which are not shown at major theatres
as well as fancy Hollywood movies. I
found a club which presents such modest movies from around the world every
month and I joined the club this weekend. The film of the month was a Finnish
one and it reminded me of our Scandinavian trip of this past summer. I enjoyed the story with subsequent ideas and local
sceneries and the sounds of the Finnish language were also interesting.
