今年は「防災の日」の9月1日が週末に当たったため、今週に入ってから防災訓練を行う自治体や公共施設が多いようです。我が家でも毎年、災害時の連絡手段を確認し合います。防災スペシャリストによると、家族が一緒にいないときに災害が発生したら、まずはそれぞれが自分の命を守り、状況が落ち着いてからお互いを探すように、ということです。

National Disaster Prevention Day
Our National Disaster Prevention Day, September 1st,
happened to be on a weekend this year and local governments and public facilities
are holding emergency drills this week. We talk about how to meet up with each
other in case of disaster every year at home, too. According to a
disaster-prevention-expert, it is important that each individual secures their
lives first when families are not together and then they could look for family
members after circumstances calm down.
