去年に移転してから間遠になっていた図書館通いを再開したところ、ずっと読みたいと思っていた村上春樹さんの『1Q84』の第一巻を見つけて、すぐに借りました。そして、しばらく見かけなかった『ビッグイシュー』も、新しい販売員さんが現れたので、最新号を購入しました。これらは小さな例だけれど、本当に欲しいものを心に思い続けていたら、こんな風に手に入るチャンスが来るのかもしれません。
Chances
I have resumed my regular visit to the local library which
was distanced since the change of their location last fall. I
happened to find the first volume of “1Q84” by Haruki Murakami, which I had wanted
to read for a while, and borrowed it immediately. Then, I came across a new
vendor of “Big Issue” after missing this magazine for a while and I purchased
the newest volume. These are just some minor examples, but now I think that
there may be chances to get what I really want if I keep wishing in my mind.
