お盆は碧南で過ごしました。入院中の父のことも、家と病院と畑を行き来する母のことも心配でした。会ってみれば、二人ともそれなりに元気だし、近くに住む親せきが色々と気遣ってくれているようです。でも、これからは私がもっと近くにいるほうが良いのかなと思いました。

For The Future
We spent this Obon period in Hekinan. I was concerned about
my father, who has been in hospital, as well as my mother, who has been busy
between home, hospital and their vegetable garden. I found out that they were
actually doing pretty well and our neighboring relatives have been helping
them. But it may be better if we live closer to them for the future.
