小学生の頃、家族旅行で御嶽山に登りました。空気中に漂う硫黄の臭いを今でも覚えています。今回の突然の噴火には、とても驚きました。去年から噴火による拡大が続いている小笠原諸島の西ノ島とはかなり離れているけれど、何か関係があるのでしょうか？ 日本は安全でしょうか？ 地球は安全でしょうか？
Mt. Ontake
I climbed Mt. Ontake for a family trip when I was an
elementary school kid. I can still recall the smell of sulfur in the air. The eruption this
time was so unexpected and I wonder if it is anything to do with the eruption
of Nishinoshima, one of the Ogasawara Islands located in a far distance, which has
been expanding since last year. Is Japan
safe? Is the earth safe?
