今年のゴールデンウィークも会社でイギリスとアメリカからのお客様をお招きしており、毎日のように出勤しています。（今日も午後から出勤です。）私は通訳としての訓練を受けないまま今の仕事に就いたこともあって、現場に立つたび実力も経験も足りないことを痛感しています。もっと勉強すればよいのですが…。心に何か迷いがあって、真剣に取り組むことができずにいるのです。
Ambivalence
We have some guests from the UK and the USA at work during the
Golden Week again this year and I am working pretty much every day. (I will be working this afternoon, too.) I did not
have any formal training as an interpreter before starting this job and I feel
my deficiency of skills and experiences every time I am on the spot. I should
study harder… but some ambivalence in my mind is holding back.
