近所の100均が閉店することになり、思いがけず困惑しています。何かのついでに立ち寄り、日用使いの消耗品を買うのがほとんどで、ここでの買い物を目的に出かけることはありませんでした。それでも、Sサイズのゴム手袋や排水口ネットなどは、この店のものが気に入っていました。今日も買い納めのつもりで寄ったら、「困るわ～」とつぶやいている人がいました。同感！

100-yen store
I am unexpectedly bewildered by the news that the 100-yen
store in our neighbourhood is closing soon. I almost never planned to shop there,
but I often stopped by on my way somewhere else to pick up some consumable
supplies. Still, their small-sized rubber gloves and drain hair-catchers were
my favourite items. When I went to do my last shopping today, a lady was
mumbling “I will miss this store…” I agree!
